After training as a physiotherapist, Rosemary has spent over twenty years in the speciality medical field of Hand Therapy where she has striven to advance the field, encourage greater acceptance and recognition of its importance and provide opportunities for herself and others to learn improved, more effective treatment techniques so that patients receive better care and shorter recuperation times.
This drive to improve herself, others and the industry has seen Rosemary become one of the leading experts in her field nationally and internationally.

Florence joined us at Sydney Hand Therapy in 2006. She has been working in the field of Hand Therapy since 1994 holding senior positions at both St George and Sydney Hospital Hand Unit. Florence is a Full Member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) and the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). Florence also holds the internationally recognised qualification of Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). Florence has an interest in neuroscience and it’s implication for hand therapy.
After completing an occupational therapy degree Rebecca pursued her passion for hand therapy in Christchurch, New Zealand. She worked in private practice there for 5 years before joining us in mid-2017. Rebecca works across our three clinics and is an Accredited Hand Therapist and full member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. She has a particular interest in treating people post-surgery and those with persistent pain, grumpy tendons or sore joints.
Vanessa has been working in the area of Hand Therapy since 2002 and graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Sydney in 1997. In 2006 she attained her Hand Therapy Certification (CHT). Vanessa has held Senior Hand Therapy positions at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and at trauma hospitals in London and Greater London. She is a full member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia. Vanessa has a special interest in hand trauma, manual oedema mobilisation and hand function retraining.
Catherine graduated from the University of Queensland in 1996 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She specialised in the field of hand therapy in 2006, completing the six month Evelyn J. Mackin Hand Therapy Fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand Center, USA. Since that time, Catherine has gained diverse hand therapy experience in public hospitals with large hand units as well as specialised private practices in the US, Queensland and NSW. She became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2008 and is a full member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. She joined Sydney Hand Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2010 and has a special interest in trauma, tendon injuries of the hand and joint stiffness.
